Interior Winter Maintenance
Our main interior winter maintenance job that we have started is the re-tiling of the shower in the downstairs bedroom’s en-suite shower room. We decided to do this as we had previously updated the existing tile border, by using a tile primer and waterproof paint. With the passage of use of the shower itself, the paint had started to chip off. We don’t like anything that is less than perfect! This had to go! Challenges at hand were to find tiles that would correspond to the current sizes and colour of the rest of the bathroom. Apparently they don’t make tiles in the size I needed any more! So, thinking out of the box, I found double length tiles in a gorgeous semi-matt effect which match excellently. I then found mozaic tiles in the right border colour, which was great as they could be cut in size and matched with the two different widths of border.
April 2018: This job is now complete and looking fab-u-lous!
